Nairn's long sandy beaches are three miles away, and from there the Moray Coast stretches east with dolphins, seals and seabirds. Culloden Battlefield lies inland, as do Brodie and Cawdor Castles. The Malt Whisky Trail is within reach, and Fort George, Inverness and Loch Ness are all easy drives. The West Coast, Fort William and Orkney are further options for a longer expedition. Walkers, mountain bikers, kayakers, golfers and photographers all find plenty to occupy themselves here.
Tigh na Bruaich is a traditional semi-detached cottage on one floor in the village of Auldearn, sleeping four across two bedrooms: a double and two singles. An enclosed paved garden at the rear has furniture and a barbecue; a front lawned area faces the road, where parking is available. One dog stays free.
