July 2025 Nice little campsite on the river shore. We arrived on bicycle and could stay spontaneously. Facilities were clean and there were many level pitches for tents.

We were travelling light with 2 people, 2 bikes and a lightweight tent, and for our purposes the site was excellent. Well maintained, excellent prices, a friendly & helpful owner, lovely location right on the river, good showers and right next to the village shop.

We were there 2 weeks ago. We had the occasion to compare several campsites during our stay. This campsite's value for money is quite low: no plugs (and the landlord "offered" to charge one device for £1, when you're already paying for the night...), and the washing room was a mess and dirty. One shower wasn't working. Otherwise, nice view on the river, and grocery shop just next the campsite.
