Small campground in far north Scotland with showers, basic and quiet.
About Stroma View Campsite
Stroma View is a small campground in Huna, near Wick in the far north of the Highlands. With only a handful of pitches, it is unlikely to feel crowded; this is a place for those wanting genuine quiet rather than facilities or social buzz. The site has showers but little else in the way of amenities, so self-sufficiency is assumed.
The location puts you at the northernmost tip of mainland Scotland, close to Dunnet Head and looking out towards Orkney. This is isolation by choice, suited to campers after stillness and big skies rather than entertainment or restaurant options nearby.

Basic but reasonably priced camp site with a fantastic view out to the Orkney’s.

Yeah its rustic and doesn't come with all the modern facilities, but it has what you need for a one night stop. Nice clean toilets and an area to wash your dishes. Flat and comfortably spaced pitches too.

Good revues (most of them) - pity a few of them are about a different (but unknown) campsite - there are only two showers (not four). The owners were polite and caring all the time, with lots of good advice. It's a basic site, clean and tidy - there is water fill-up, washing up room, waste water disposal, electricity and more - everything is included in the price which was £16 for two of us in a motorhome. All facilities and dogs (we have two) are free. all in all a good camping ground.

Fairly small and basic site but friendly owner, clean facilities and plenty of electric hook up. Stayed in a tent when the winds were gusting over 30mph but still had a comfortable night. The only bad point is showers are an extra fee but this is understandable.
