About Thurso Caravan and Camping Park
Thurso Caravan and Camping Park sits on the far north coast of Scotland, in the small settlement of Scrabster near Thurso. The setting is the main draw: ocean views dominate the landscape here, with the Pentland Firth and northern waters visible from the site. The location puts you within walking distance of local amenities including a supermarket and the village shops of nearby Victoria Walk.
The park has showers and a cafe on site, with food at reasonable prices. Feedback on the facilities is mixed—the showers and washing areas can be very clean and well-maintained, though this is not consistent. Staff are noted as friendly and professional. The site suits caravanners and campers looking for views and a base on Scotland's north coast, within reach of Thurso itself and the far-north landscape beyond.

What visitors say
This was a very cold clifftop stay. The showers didn't appear to have any heating and the path to the toilets was very uneven, so not good in the dark. One of the only places without access to hairdryers or soap too

We rented a caravan it was the best stay in scotland. All new, fully equiped, lounge and two bedrooms very reasonably priced. All the staff were very helpful and pleasant

Stayed 1 night – overall great campsite. The restaurant didn’t open for breakfast until 10am – found that weird. Used the washing machine successfully but found the dryer to be inadequate and in need of service or replacement. The normal time didn’t dry our clothes. Staff we’re friendly, professional and helpful. Didn’t wander into town but wish we had. FANTASTIC ocean views!
