Spurn Heritage Coast ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An absolutely stunning stretch of coastline with breathtaking views, abundant wildlife, and a real sense of tranquillity. The natural beauty of the area is remarkable, with miles of unspoilt scenery perfect for walking, photography, and exploring. It’s a bit windy along the coast, so wrap up beforehand! The coastline was beautiful even on a cloudy day!! There’s free parking and part of the coast is dog friendly. There’s signs to inform you how far to walk before you reach the nature reserve area that’s not dog friendly! Be careful. We were accosted by an elderly gentleman who insisted that the area by the gate on the road was NOT dog friendly! However, we followed all the Yorkshire Wildlife Trust information boards to strictly adhere to the areas.

Beautiful coastal walks with very well established trails and a nice selection of either long or short routes. Interesting history of the site includes wartime coastal defence experiments that survived until today.

You travel as far as you can down the road and park. Walk along the sand until you meet a concrete road and continue along this until you come to the end of spurn point. From the museum at the entry to the point is appropriate 3 miles but worth a visit.
