Lovely rooms. Service was excellent. Food was really good. My wife and I had the chicken schnitzel which was amazing. My son had the burger which he proclaimed to be the best he had ever had! My daughter had the falafel burger (seriously) but she also loved it. Overall very much recommended.

What a little Gem! This quaint little pub set in a beautiful village with views over looking gorgeous countryside. It was the perfect stop over for a family gathering and best placed for our onward journey to Selsey. The family room was perfectly spacious for a family of 3 and just what we needed for a one night. Breakfast the following morning was all laid out in a cute little pantry for you to help yourself (cereal, croissants, toast etc) with good selection of tea and coffee and cold juices (I believe a cooked breakfast is available at the weekends for a supplement) All the staff are friendly and welcoming and I would 100% recommend.

I am camping/hiking in the area and was recommended The Windmill. Fabulous choice. Very warm and welcoming. Incredible food - talented chef. I enjoyed duck bon bons then pork belly which was perfectly cooked, tender and with crispy cracking. So good to find properly cooked food! The young lady who looked after me, apologies I don’t know her name, long dark hair and said she has been working full time for 4 years, was charming and attentive. Wonderful service, thank you. I thoroughly recommend The Windmill and such a change to the overpriced mediocrity we live with in West London!

Lovely country pub with excellent food. Almost everything on the menu has a gf option not just a token one or two. The gf battered haddock and chips were perfectly cooked as were all the other meals in our party. All but one dessert was gf too. Will definitely be back.
