The Granary at Gay Street Farm
Horsham
The Granary sits on a working farm between Pulborough, Storrington and Billingshurst, in rural West Sussex. This converted granary has two bedrooms and two bathrooms, each bedroom with a king-size bed and its own shower facilities. The ground floor is open-plan, with living and dining areas that open through French doors onto a south-facing patio and garden where you can sit out. The kitchen is properly equipped for cooking—oven, hob, dishwasher, microwave, fridge and washing machine all there—and a coffee machine for mornings.
One pet is welcome provided it stays on a lead, as this is an active farm. You have the use of a shared tennis court for two hours per day of your stay. Parking for two cars is on site, and there is secure storage for bicycles. The essentials—heating, electricity, bed linen and towels—are included. One dog may accompany you; no smoking is permitted inside.
This is walking and driving distance from several small market towns and the South Downs landscape. Families and couples looking for countryside peace rather than attractions will find the working farm setting and access to rural footpaths the main draw.
