Manor Farm Camping

East Riding of Yorkshire

Award-winning family smallholding campsite five miles from Hull, near Beverley

About Manor Farm Camping

Manor Farm Camping sits on a ten-acre working smallholding in the village of Woodmansey, roughly midway between the city of Hull and the market town of Beverley, both around four to five miles away with a regular bus route serving both. The Barker family have run the site since 2004, and it has twice won the Camping and Caravanning Club's award for Best Small UK Family Camp Site, a reputation built on its landscaped, pond-side pitches and genuinely welcoming atmosphere.

The farm itself is a large part of the appeal for families, with sheep, cows, pigs, ponies and ducks kept on site alongside a well-equipped children's play area, making it an easy choice for a first camping trip with young children. Pitches are arranged around ponds and landscaped grounds rather than in regimented rows, and many enjoy open views across the surrounding farmland. Facilities include hot showers, toilets, a chemical disposal point, pot-wash area, electric hook-ups and a communal fridge and freezer, along with several premium pitches that come with their own private toilet.

The site takes tents, touring caravans, motorhomes and trailer tents, and dogs are welcome throughout. Its location between Hull and Beverley makes it a genuinely practical base for exploring both, with Beverley Minster, the Museums Quarter in Hull and the wider East Yorkshire Wolds all within easy reach, while the working farm setting gives it a character that larger commercial parks rarely match.
