Caravan and tent park near Ironbridge with electric hook-ups and showers, minutes from the Ironbridge Gorge museums.
About Poolview Caravan Park
Poolview Caravan Park takes tents, caravans and motorhomes on pitches with electric hook-ups. Showers are available on site. The park sits close to Ironbridge, a town built around the world's first iron bridge and the industrial heritage of the Ironbridge Gorge, which contains ten museums spread across the valley—among them the Ironbridge itself, a Victorian tollhouse, a china museum, and sites documenting the area's role in the Industrial Revolution.
The Shropshire countryside around the site offers walking routes along the Severn, and the town of Ironbridge itself has pubs, shops and restaurants within easy reach. For those interested in industrial history or just looking for accessible attractions without a long drive, the location works well.

What visitors say
If I could, I wouldn’t even give them 1 star. The experience I had with this place was the absolute worst. They are absolute robbers. The owner is verbally abusive and the biggest bully I have ever come across, so much so he bullied me out of my park home I had purchased as I didn’t feel safe in my own space. He would not let me sell my park home and only could sell it back to them, and offered me £40,000 less for it and I never even saw that money. I can now see that they are renting it out for people to stay and are sitting on my money. This should not be allowed and completely illegal. I would recommend you avoid at all costs. If you do not want to be bullied/harassed or robbed of your hard earned money. They say they’re a peaceful site however it is the complete opposite because they like to knock on your door and threaten you. Avoid at all costs!!!!

Not a lovely pitch hard dark grey lumpy stone shower door didn't lock a little uncomfortable considering the showers are shared with the laundry room also taps on site but clearly states not drinking water not so good if you need to fill your tank probably wouldn't choose this site again

We stayed here for 3 nights. It’s extremely quiet which is great and the grounds are very well looked after. It was £24 a night with electric hook up which is priced correctly in my opinion. Staff were always friendly. We had our 10 year old with us and I wouldn’t class it as a family park. If you’re after modern amenities then don’t stay here. They were clean but definitely require a full renovation or redevelopment. The touring part has huge electric pylons above and it seems to be work contractors staying there. Would we stay there again? No. On a positive note my wife saw 2 deer wandering the caravan park.
