What visitors say
We recently stayed at this campsite with a tent box and an inflatable air shelter specifically used for drive away camping outfits. Unfortunately, when we arrived, we were told we couldn’t use the air shelter because it was classed as a gazebo. This was really frustrating, especially as we had travelled with it expecting to use it as part of our camping setup. It would have been helpful if this rule had been made much clearer before arrival so we could have planned differently. Being told at check-in left us with very few options. Aside from that, the campsite itself was fine, but this experience put a dampener on our stay. I’d recommend that the campsite makes its rules regarding the difference between air shelters and gazebos much clearer for future bookers.

We stayed at Plas Uchaf Holiday Park from Monday to Tuesday and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. The staff and overall service were extremely poor. The wardens in particular were rude and made us feel uncomfortable throughout our stay. At times, their behavior came across as unnecessarily confrontational and even felt like harassment. One of the main issues was being told we were not allowed to have a barbecue, despite the site rules clearly stating that barbecues are permitted. We were using a proper barbecue grill positioned above the ground, yet we were still told to stop, which was both confusing and frustrating. Overall, we did not enjoy our stay at all. Due to the way we were treated, we will not be returning and would not recommend this site to others.

Stayed here back in June. A lovely well looked after site with lovely facilities, some of the shower blocks were more modern than others, we always explore the whole site when we’re there. You can walk down into Benllech but it is quite a steep walk back up.
