Beaumaris Castle, Benllech Beach and the Anglesey Coastal Path are all within easy reach of Black Horse Cottage, making it a practical base for exploring this part of north Wales. The 14-acre grounds offer space to walk and cycle before heading out to the island's 125 miles of coastline, and a shop, pub and restaurant are 1½ miles away.

The cottage is a single-storey barn conversion across one level, with two bedrooms—one double with ensuite shower, one with two single beds and a separate bathroom with a bath. A spacious open-plan living area contains the kitchen, dining and sitting space; essentials like linen, towels, heating and wi-fi are provided, and there is a washer-dryer on site. A rear decked area overlooks the surrounding countryside.

You get private parking for three cars and the shared grounds include a patio, garden furniture and a barbecue. One pet stays free. The property does not permit smoking. A cot and highchair are available on request, and families should note there is a fenced pond on the grounds, about 30 yards from the cottage.

Great place to chill out, with a pet dog.

Had a short pit stop two nights here. Very cosy and peaceful. I really enjoyed the anonymity and comfortable mattress in the shepherds hut. Everything you need. Denise is on hand should you need anything. I had the pleasure of Socks the farm cat. I treated him to some tuna and had his company for 10 minutes. I was working in the area. Highly recommended.

An excellent little bungalow, which is ideal for getting around Anglesey. Nice and clean and plenty of parking and the owners are lovely people. Went October 2023 and going again October 2024.

We stayed here after booking through Air B&B. We really enjoyed our stay. Denise was very welcoming and a lovely lady. The shepherds hut we stayed in was perfect for our needs. It had a small hob, all the crockery/cutlery you would need, fresh bedding, fresh towels and plenty of lanterns. Its well located for the various things you can do whilst visiting Anglesey too. The only slight draw back in my opinion is the lack of a power outlet within the hut, but Denise did let us use a power outlet located in a shed. I suppose this is to be expected when camping/glamping though. Overall me, my partner and our dog can highly recommend this place. We'll be staying again. Thanks Denise.
