Gwel Y Don

Pentraeth, a quiet village on the Isle of Anglesey, sits less than two miles from Red Wharf Bay. Gwel Y Don is a ground-floor cottage that opens to a private garden with a sitting area and barbecue, backing onto countryside. The whole place is yours alone, and dogs stay free.

Two bedrooms and a bathroom serve up to six guests. Bedroom one holds a double bed; bedroom two has a double, a single, and a pull-out single. The living and dining room centres on an open fire, with a Freeview TV to fall back on. The kitchen is fully fitted for cooking—electric oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave and fridge. Towels, bed linen and Wi-Fi are included. There's parking for two cars on site.

Red Wharf Bay's sandy beach and shallow waters lie within easy reach for swimming or beachcombing. The Anglesey Sea Zoo is a 15-minute drive away if you want something different on a rainy day. The cottage does not allow smoking.
