Ty Copr - The Den suits couples, families with children, or small groups of friends after a self-catering base on Anglesey. The property is a ground-floor apartment within a three-unit complex behind a local gift shop in Penysarn village, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty near Parys Mountain. You get the whole place to yourselves, with two double bedrooms, a shower room, and an open-plan living space that combines kitchen, dining and sitting areas. One dog can stay free of charge.

The kitchen is equipped for proper cooking: electric cooker, microwave, fridge-freezer and washing machine mean you can self-cater or do laundry. The living area has a TV, Freesat, DVD player and a woodburner. Bed linen, towels and wifi are included; electricity is supplied on a meter-card basis. There's an enclosed courtyard with garden furniture, and on-road parking nearby. The village post office is fifty yards away, selling essentials; a shop and pub are a short drive off. No smoking is permitted indoors.

Beaches lie four and a half miles away, with coastal walks and birdwatching within reach. The harbour town of Amlwch is minutes away, and boat trips for fishing or puffin-watching can be arranged locally. Snowdonia National Park and its outdoor attractions are accessible for a day trip.

We rented the Loft for three nights. This was a very pleasant place to stay and made for a lovely break in north Wales. The apartment is nicely furnished and gets plenty of daylight. It was absolutely spotless which made it very comfortable and it is well stocked with everything we needed. The location is ideal for trips in and around north Anglesey and there are some great walks. We particularly enjoyed the walk from Bull Bay to Porth Wen Beach and industrial works. It was a nice surprise to have a small welcome package from the owner’s gift shop. There is also a grocery store just around the corner. Would certainly consider staying there again.

This little gem of a shop is well worth a visit to buy Welsh made treats, specialities and gifts. They have the famous Anglesey sea salt, bara brith, shortbread, fudge and will put together a nice gift box or hamper including Welsh made alcoholic tipples or natural soap and bath products. Loads to buy and enjoy while supporting local business.

We rented 'The Den' in early May 2025. The accommodation was great and conveniently located for exploring Anglesey. Spotlessly clean and spacious. The hosts were 'on hand' but not intrusive. We were allowed to bring our dog and we had an amazing time. The hosts had thought of everything and we were very comfortable. The building had level access with only one step inside the apartment. The place had electric heating and a wood burner-very cosy! We would definitely visit again.

Lovely place for everything Anglesey/Wales. Already made up hampers or you can make up your own with all the gifts available. Sweets, chocolate, coffee, tea, alcohol, locally made jewellery etc. etc. Extremely helpful too!
