Absolutely stunning campsite location, would highly recommend for any car-campers or caravans. This beach is so so lovely to wake up to. I personally found the showers clean and good enough, but bring multiple £1 coins.

I really did not enjoy my stay here and couldn’t wait to leave. It was my least favourite campsite of my trip in the Hebrides. There was no welcome or introduction to facilities/pitch etc. It felt like a holiday park - not what I came to the outer Hebrides for. Much too busy and the only place where I experienced people being unfriendly/unkind to each other e.g. a man shouting sexist comments on beach, some unpleasant people in sauna and dogs running round off lead with no respect for privacy or boundaries (I’ve not had this issue anywhere else). There are no real pitches…it’s a field and people are dotted around. Limited electric pitches and some facing the chemical waste toilet. People walking across my pitch. Facilities dirty, cold and showers expensive. Women’s showers lack privacy. There is a hot food van on site with a noisy diesel generator which gives off fumes. Beautiful beach but crowded and lovely walks but again busier than anywhere else I’ve been. And really importantly there were dead rabbits on the beach as dogs are just running and roaming free all over the dunes distressing and killing the wildlife. I cut my trip in Harris/Lewis short after staying here. I decided to head to the mainland for my last 2 weeks instead.

The beach it is located by is beautiful, get a pitch looking out across the bay and it's amazing, other than that it is quite a simple campsite with some facilities shared with the public. One great addition was the sea sauna (seperate business) located next to the site, recommend booking this!

This site was redeemed by its fantastic location. Otherwise not a particularly friendly welcome, poor facilities and large site with very few level options. Sadly, despite the location this has been the worst site we have encountered since starting in Barra and working our way up to Lewis. One good feature however is that there is a sauna by the beach (nothing to do with the campsite) which is excellent
