About Glengorm Castle
Glengorm Castle stands on a working farm and estate on Mull's north coast, four miles from Tobermory, its Victorian turrets looking out over the Sound of Mull towards Ardnamurchan. Rather than a conventional hotel, Glengorm offers premium self-catering accommodation within the castle itself and across a scatter of estate cottages, along with a flat in the castle available on a nightly basis.
The estate runs to several thousand acres of farmland, moor and coastline, threaded with waymarked walks past standing stones, an Iron Age dun and a beach popular with otters and seals. A farm shop and café in the castle's old steadings sells produce from the estate alongside light lunches and home baking, and the grounds are open to day visitors as well as guests.
Glengorm suits families, groups and couples looking for privacy and space rather than hotel service, with the wider estate effectively forming an extension of each stay.

Rather remote but set in lovely countryside. The castle cafe was disappointingly closed, we were relying on it being open for meals but not a show stopper. Accommodation was the Bovey and was only fitted out a couple of years ago and was comfortable. Unfortunately it could be better. There was no usb charging sockets. No WiFi and not much phone reception (had to go outside for that) Being out of season we needed to be able to browse the web to check if places were open. The fitted kitchen had a washing machine but no dishwasher.

We had an amazing stay at the Terrace Flat at Glengorm Castle. The space was incredibly spacious and equipped with everything we needed. Every evening, we enjoyed stunning sunset views from our window. The area offers plenty of beautiful nature walks. The cafe is short walk from the flat and provides delicious food. I highly recommend staying here and can’t wait to return soon.

Amazing! Beautifully decorated in every single room, fully stocked with any kitchen appliance or tool you might need, and (obviously) plenty of space, indoor and outdoor. The view was incredible, with mountains, hills, the ocean, the sky, sheep, and cows, all in one frame. The yard was super pretty as well, with very plush grass. Absolutely would recommend, definitely worth it (Plus, the down-the-road tea room had wonderful scones).

We had an absolutely wonderful time at Glengorm Castle. From the moment we drove up to the second we left everything was perfect. The lounge, games room, dining room and reading room had a lovely warm and relaxed atmosphere and the room we stayed in (Torr) was large and beautifully decorated and furnished. The breakfasts were delicious and we enjoyed lovely walks from the grounds to the coast line. A truly special place in a much loved home. We will certainly return.
