My friend and I had a wonderful stay at the Bellachroy. The owners were just wonderful hosts, making us feel really welcome and they created such a friendly and relaxing atmosphere. The hotel is so tastefully decorated, with great attention to detail - for example USB sockets in each beside light. It's little things like this that really make the difference. I felt I'd had a few days of being so well looked after. All the staff were helpful, friendly and polite too, and the lunch and dinner menus and food were fantastic. I hope to return!

We had lunch on a Friday, and we were impressed. Beautiful and plentiful food, served with a smile and a chat with the staff afterwards. Very clean and inviting , so glad we just popped in, really loved it! Music in the background was also nice, locally picked flowers on the table. Don't miss this gem of a place!

Disappointing Sunday Roast—great staff, but the food let them down. We booked a day in advance for a Sunday Roast on a rainy afternoon, hoping for a hearty meal. Unfortunately, the experience was highly disappointing.Upon arrival, we were told our pre-booked table was right next to the toilets, despite there being plenty of other empty tables available.While the service and staff were very good, they were wholly let down by the food. The menu offered only one roast meat option (pork), so we ordered it. Both the starter and main portions were incredibly small and basic. The roast pork was overcooked, dry, and unseasoned. The vegetables and potatoes were raw in the middle to the point of being inedible, and also completely lacked seasoning. Given that the vegetables were julienned and the portion sizes were so small, it is surprising how poorly cooked they were.We visited specifically for the food, but left disappointed and hungry.

Words cannot paint the dreamy experience I had at this quaint property! It is one of the oldest hotels in Scotland, the delightful owners, Matt and Tom have retained much of the charm, while elevating the decor, food and experience. The greenhouse dining experience and dinner was memorable and such a welcoming, classy experience! Thank you.
