Garrison Campsite

Just had 7 nights at Garrisons campsite and what a special place! Jarrod and Mel took on the site last year and clearly have worked tirelessly improving the facilities on offer and investing in upgrades. Shower block and washing area was superb, modern and super clean. Hot showers day and night, fridges/ freezers available by the shop. We had quite strong winds some of the time in multiple directions and the camping fields were so well protected we hardly noticed. The owners and staff go beyond anything I’ve experienced before, totally committed to making our stay as comfortable as possible…they were all amazing! Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable….we will definitely be back next year!

We're in a 'readi tent' which is basically a good-to-go pre-erected tent with all the basic facilities you will need. Lovely, helpful staff and a great location in the Scilly Isles. There is a good shop with most of the essentials and a short walk into St Mary's. Secure charging lockers for your gadgets are brilliant and are really worth £2 a day, not sure how we'd cope otherwise! It will be a shame to go home at the end of the week.

We stayed in June 2024 after having been her the year before, I can highly recommend everything about this campsite. To start with the owners Mel and Jared are super friendly and nothing is ever to much to ask, our luggage was brought up to the campsite and all we had to do was use a trolley to wheel it to our spot. The shop on the campsite has everything you will need and you cannot beat the location 5 min walk away from town. The campsite itself is very clean including the showers, which are great and they don't require coins anymore. There are 2 nice washing up areas, laundry room etc. The site is quite big but separated by hedges so you never feel to close to your neighbours and protected from the wind. 2 min walk to see the sunset!

Camped for 4 nights with electric hook up. The service bringing our luggage to and from the port was fantastic, really made it a lot easier. The owners and staff are amazing, couldn't be more friendly and helpful. The location is incredible. It's clear that much effort has gone into making the site as good as it is, clean loo blocks and tidy fields. Nice and quite at night too. If you like stargazing then it's perfect as there is no light pollution. Lots of bats and saw some hedgehogs to. I would recommend Garrison to anyone and hope to return at some point. Shame I can only give 5 stars
