I’m giving a low score due to the service. Rooms were lovely, very clean. Hot tub was great. Area/Location was fine, we attended Galasheils gala day too. The hot tub rule of only allowed in within 7am-11pm is a bit silly. A lot of people would enjoy staying in the hot tub past 11 but keeping the noise down. Like a warning system would be much better. Or atleast later hot tub times at the weekend or something. The service was ridiculous. You check in between 4pm-5pm then the staff leave so if you don’t make the slot then you are left with no key. The queue to check in was silly, must have waited 20 minutes. The lady assisting us was rude and abrupt. The restaurant food was amazing, it’s just a shame the service let it down. Everything we asked was an inconvenience to them. We had to ask if we order our food at the table or bar. Then had to ask another two times to have someone come and take our order for our food. The drink taps ran out on atleast three of our drinks which left us with off lemonade. We did play the Bingo which was good fun and the caller was really good and clear. The after bingo entertainment was pretty good too but a DJ would have sufficed too. Wouldn’t return to be honest.

Great campsite. Simple site with field but next to caravan park with great kids park, bar and shop. Great for kids to give a little freedom (and mausoleum to visit 😆). Would recommend - minor point was limited recycling facilities which could be improved.

Touring with caravan, excellent hard standing full service pitches with plenty room for awning and car. great bar restaurant and takeaways. Children's play park is one of the best I have seen . Dog friendly with plenty dog walks , although dogs not allowed in bar areas there are plenty covered outside comfy seating with heaters. Very good toilet and shower room Only fault more pegs for hanging clothes in showers
