Hogarths Stone Manor

We held our Golden Wedding lunch party at Stone Manor recently in The Drey, a very light, spacious room with an excellent acoustic, looking out over fields from its balcony. The Events Team were very helpful and well-organised in providing us with menu choices for our guests and a wine tasting for us to choose the best wines for the event. On the day, everything went ahead very smoothly; the food was delicious and arrived seamlessly, with just the right gap between courses. Dan was an excellent Maitre D' and we knew were were in very good hands. So, we relaxed, spent time with dear friends and enjoyed our own party. I would highly recommend Stone Manor both as a venue and for the professionalism of its staff. .

It’s hard to believe it’s been a year since our wedding, and looking back on the day has reminded us just how perfect it was—and so much of that is thanks to everyone at Hogarths Stone Manor. From the moment we first viewed the venue to the day itself, the team went above and beyond to make everything feel so special. The venue is absolutely stunning, with beautiful grounds and elegant spaces that created the perfect setting for our wedding. Every detail was thoughtfully taken care of, allowing us to relax and enjoy every single moment with our family and friends. The staff were exceptional throughout the entire day—professional, friendly, and always one step ahead. Nothing was too much trouble, and they made sure everything ran seamlessly. We felt so well looked after, and so did our guests, many of whom still comment on what an incredible venue it was. A year later, looking back at our photos and videos, we’re reminded of just how magical Hogarths Stone Manor made our wedding feel. We couldn’t have chosen a more perfect venue, and we’re so grateful to everyone who helped make our day so unforgettable. We couldn’t recommend Hogarths Stone Manor highly enough. Lovely hotel with wedding venue facilities that were being used at the time of our visit. Although we weren't part of the wedding party, there was no noise or disturbance to our restful night. We didn't have breakfast so can't comment on the food but the hotel was very clean with attentive reception staff. Served us well as an overnighter on the way back to Devon.

Stayed here to host a family party. The dog-friendly room was clean and comfortable. Although described as a garden room there's no direct access from the room to the garden. The grounds are spectacular, with plenty of space to exercise your pet. The evening meal for a party of seven was excellent - everything ordered was served without undue delays and everyone enjoyed their meals. Overall excellent value - thanks to the staff.
