Great campsite. Wonderful views over the channel to France. The site can at times be a little exposed and it is a sloping site. We were prepared for this, so not an issue. Good facilities, the loos, showers were well looked after. In the evenings Sam's Bar was a welcome find, as was the pizza from Peckish alongside. The pizza can be very popular, so pre-book but make sure you go and get a number from the team. On the Saturday we had a hiccup which meant a very long wait. It is a safe site, plenty of room for the kids to roam, play games and enjoy their bikes. The staff at reception were very helpful. Stable Ground provide the coffee and pastries each morning. There is footpath access from the top of the site down to the beach. Some rockpools at lowtide. We met lots of other campers from throughout the UK and beyond. There is good mobile access if needed and cheap 24 hour wifi access from the reception. I mentioned those wonderful views and they provided sunshine on tap. The only addition, might be a climbing frame or two, somewhere for kids to congregate. We'll certainly be back. A good time had by all. Book in advance if you want electrical hookup.

Lovely campsite based on a raised area overlooking the sea. Reception is well equipped if you have forgotten some camping items. Facilities are clean and well maintained. If you get there early you choosebthe best spots where to pitch. Cafe serves coffee and pastries in the morning Restaurant serves different foods depending on the day and can be booked in advance plus sells beers. Firepit and long tables can be rented plus wood to be bought on site if needed Great place to start your camping adventure with kids. Oh and the beach is a 10 min walk

Absolutely beautiful camp site. I took a group of 16-18 Yr olds some of whom have never been camping and they loved it. Several of them commented on how lovely and clean the bathroom and showers were. One said it was the thing she was most worried about as she imagined them not being very nice, but said they were really nice. The staff are super friendly and helpful and the shop has enough variety to be helpful. I am not a camping fan but love thus place, the views are stunning! Thanks Kingsdown, see you again next year!

Came with a group of friends who had been before and love it. I can honestly say what a fantastic site. Location is perfect; views and surrounding area are peaceful and great to explore. The facilities are clean and well equipped for a decent shower. The team at reception are so friendly and welcoming and the shop is well supplied for anything you’ve missed or need. Can’t wait to come back.
