Allerton Park Holiday Park sits in a wooded, secluded setting just off the A1(M), conveniently placed between Knaresborough, Harrogate and York. The park mixes up to 25 touring pitches for caravans, motorhomes, campervans and tents with a larger area of around 100 static holiday homes and 14 timber lodges, giving visitors a genuine choice of how they want to stay without feeling like an afterthought to the static side of the business.
Touring pitches are available on both hardstanding and grassed areas, with electric hookups throughout, and there is a private section for seasonal touring pitches reserved for visitors who return regularly through the year. On-site facilities include modern toilet and shower blocks, a children's play area and an open recreation field, and the mature woodland setting gives the park a quieter, more sheltered feel than many sites closer to the main road, with birdsong rather than traffic noise the dominant background.
The location makes it an easy base for day trips: Knaresborough's castle and riverside are a short drive away, Harrogate is close by for shopping and dining, and York is within easy reach for a full day exploring the Minster and city walls.
