I had a last minute stay at Faichemard Farm Campsite in my micro campervan - easily booked online the evening before my stay. The pitches are very spread out so you’re not near anyone (there were only 2/3 other pitches occupied when I was there so it was very quiet, but I can’t imagine it would feel crowded even when full). Facilities were great and clean. I had a good hot shower, washed my dishes, did a load of washing and drying, emptied my waste water and chemical toilet and filled up with fresh drinking water. There are two toilet/shower blocks, each with a dishwashing sink and there’s a further dishwashing sink in the laundry shed. Good value for a solo traveller, it being adults only is a welcome bonus!

We came across this site by chance. It is amazing, you feel as though you’re the only one there, cos of how the site is laid out. Truely wonderful views all around and very peaceful. Excellent clean facilities and lovely hot showers. Flat and spacious pitch for our campervan. Very welcoming and helpful owner. Thanks for a great stay.
