John is such a lovely person! We asked if we could go down to see the highland cows closer, he took us around the Croft and showed us all the animals, let us feed them and told many interesting facts. We also got eggs from their hens for breakfast. The pods are awesome and spacious, kitchen and bathroom are modern and sufficient for a few days. The scenery is beautiful. We had a lovely time and were really sorry we didn't book more nights.

Pod has all the essentials for a very comfortable stay. John was very friendly, responsive and helpful when required. The location is beautiful and very peaceful. We were lucky enough to enjoy a couple of clear night skies with a blazing fire pit to keep us warm. Surrounding fields have sheep, llamas, highland cows and we saw a herd of deer from the pod. Perfect location for a base to explore the NC500 route. Would recommend and will return some day.

Stayed there for 1 week. Pod was spacious, clean and had everything needed (kitchen fully equipped, towels, soap) We felt very welcomed and had the opportunity to use the BBQ and visit the animals

Last night on our cycle route to John O’ Groats from Lands End. The pods were great - clean, warm and equipped with everything we needed. Lovely views in a stunning area of Scotland!
