We spent a Friday afternoon to Sunday morning there. We were a group of 11. Barry from the site welcomed us when we arrived. Great views of the countryside! Although not completely finished the toilet block was very clean. Electrical hookup was really handy. There were 2 Chickens roaming around which were friendly and also 2 Mallard ducks! Although no shop on site, there was a Premier shop 5 mins away in Rigside and a great take away! Had a really great time and would definitely go back👍

This is a "working farm" (and don't we need our farmers!) and this farmer is a lovely guy!. Meeting people like this is getting more rare these days! Pitch "level", drinking water available, electric hook up available, toilets and shower area clean, sure, "basic" (yet clean! - nice touch with that chosen handwash!) and this is a "proper authentic farm", not an artificial tourist attraction "pretending" to be a farm, and a very "quiet", yet very handy spot for the beautiful "historic Lanark" and surrounding areas, as well as a fantastic little stop over for those planning to travel further up into Scotland to explore it's rich unique heritage, as a stop off. Had a really peaceful night here and all for the modest cost of £20 that we were charged. Seriously, it was wonderful! We would definitely come back again! Loved it! Nice seeing the little group of chickens walking about freely, what a delightful bunch of lasses, put a smile on our faces on a slightly snowy February visit in our new VW! (: - We also recommend a visit to "Alexander Taylor Bakery", a family run bakery for over 200 years based in Strathaven, not far away! All in all, a great stop over! Felt safe and treated extremely well! 😊🙏🐑❤️ 🐔🦆

A great stop over for us on our way north. Close to motorway. Near cheap diesel at tesco and very quiet. We will return it's a great site. The new toilet block will be amazing when it's finished.
