Cockerham Sands Country Park

I would just like to thank Jason for his excellent service in selling my caravan. He was professional and proactive throughout and in the end got me more than I expected. All in all he was just brilliant. I'd also like to thank the staff at Cockerham Sands who made our life there so special. I would really recommend the park to anyone looking for a holiday home, it is in a lovely position, the facilities are great and the people are extremely friendly. Thanks again Jason.

We spent 7 nights in a gold 3 bed caravan. All the staff were so welcoming, helpful and kind. The caravan was spacious, well maintained and comfortable. 1 shower room and 1 en-suite loo. The site offers a shop, outside pool, children’s play park and a bar with entertainment whilst maintaining a small family owned feeling. The location is very handy for Lancaster, Morecambe, Blackpool and only an hour from Windermere. first time here for us, with a toddler…will be back and will recommend to anyone thinking of a holiday in the area.

What a fantastic sales manager Jason is at Cockerham sands, he’s always welcoming always smiling, and nothing is to much trouble for him, no matter what you ask, he’s happy to help and always takes time to answer any questions. His positive attitude and friendly nature makes everyone feel valued and at home, he constantly goes above and beyond for residents and visitors alike, he always says hello always has a smile on his face and makes you genuinely welcome every time you see him, Jason is a true professional who clearly cares about people and take pride in providing outstanding customer service. He’s a real credit to the company I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend both Jason and the park to anyone looking for a friendly holiday park

My husband and I have just bought a caravan on the lovely Cockerham sands site, we have looked around lots of sites including some others owned by Pure Leisure (a family owned business) Jason the sites salesman was friendly but not pushy, showed us around several caravans, until we found a perfect one, the buying process was made hassle free with him. He has called a few times to check we are settling in ok, which we thought was nice. It’s in a lovely coastal and countryside area with the Lune estuary and sandy beach right on the doorstep, a short drive from the Lancaster city centre where you will find ample shops. In between Morecambe and Blackpool ideal for days out. The site has a heated outdoor pool and showers for after your swim or fun, I believe it is open May until October. It has a bar that serves food and ample seating and televisions for them must watch sporting events, with a good selection of non alcoholic and alcoholic drinks, there is also a shop that stocks your essentials that you may have forgotten. All the sites staff we have met have been really friendly, theirs also a small arcade and soft play area for the younger members of the family. We are looking forward to the rest of the season, with quiet weekends away from the hustle and bustle of work and family holidays with the grandchildren and rest of the family.
