About Morecambe Lodge Caravan Park
Morecambe Lodge is a mobile home park on Shore Lane in Bolton-le-Sands, a village between Carnforth and Morecambe Bay. The site has shower facilities and sits close enough to the shore for guests to walk out to Jumbo Rock and the Red Bank Trig point, both within a few minutes on foot.
The location makes it a base for exploring the bay itself, which has extensive walking routes and changing landscapes depending on the tide. Carnforth is just up the road, a market town with the railway heritage site at Carnforth Station (used as a filming location for the 1945 film Brief Encounter) and independent shops and cafés. Access to the Lancashire coast and the wider Morecambe Bay area is straightforward from here.

What visitors say
I haven't lived here, but I walk my dog every day passing through the area. The facilities seem well maintained and the people living there seem pretty happy. One of the appealing advantages is its proximity to the beach, but the place seems a bit crowded with all the lodges close to one another.

Been here a year now and best decision we’ve made. We absolutely love our holiday home by the sea. Such an amazing, peaceful and relaxing site. Our slice of heaven ♥️♥️♥️

I was very impressed with the standards of this site. This site is at the upper end of our budget for short stays but was well worth it. The site is dry, clean and well maintained. You can easily see that the owner has invested significantly in the site facilities. The touring pitch we stayed on was full service (which i believe they all are) which made the price surprisingly low compared to other sites. The site is immediately on the coast with a short walk through the site, though a pedestrian access gate and you are there on the beach. When the tide is in the beach is a pebble/stone affair but when the tide is out there is flat dry sand (a little muddy but that is Morecambe bay for you). A short walk south along the coast brings you to Hestbank where there is a cafe on the beach car-park, some take-aways on the main road and up the hill a little way is a very good pub on the canal (which is also very pleasant). For cyclists there is a national cycle route on the nearby canal and a regional route on the main road into Morecambe that is on the road until the Morecambe seafront. The seafront at Morecambe is great for cycling and strolling along with plenty of attractions as you would expect for a seaside resort. The owner is extremely helpful for his guests. To the point he took 30minutes out of his schedule to dig up a set of electrical testers for me when i had an issue on my van. For this i thank him emphatically. In Summary I doubt you will be disappointed visiting this park.
