Ribble Valley Country & Leisure Park

We stayed for 3 nights on a return journey from Scotland to split up the journey £170 deal. Ribble Valley is a beautiful caravan park where there are plenty of owners on site. The site is well maintained and landscaped. A small reception area with a dog wash area at the side and a small kids play area with seating outside. Staff accommodating. There is a large recreational field and dog walking area plenty of dog bins. The only issue was the one way systems around the small park and lack of any signage for directions to areas or way out. I spent my first 15 minutes traversing the whole site up and around trying to find our caravan. there are two separate areas we were down past the reception. I had to ask the warden to help and I followed him. The gold caravan was really lovely. . Parking on flagstones and an area in front for extra car. stretches of grass between and lots of bushes to help with privacy. The caravan was immaculate clean. Received a small welcome box soap, tea towels. Provided toilet rolls. Well laid out and plenty of space. A good size TV wall mounted, lots of storage and good selection of kitchen equipment /crockery. Large fridge freezer. An option to purchase WiFi very comfortable sofas and puffy. Windows have nets for extra privacy . An Extra single toilet. The site was quiet relaxing and a good place to explore the area. There is Members area and one members area on site had a small lake area. Members areas had more space terraced, private dead end road and looked really beautiful. if you wanted a Permanent place to stay. They had. Members event in the small carpark which was lovely to see, a real community feel. We had a dog friendly caravan and plenty of others with dogs around too. Would stay again

Ribble Valley Caravan Stay – 1st to 4th May 2026 We stayed here as a family of five for three nights and overall had a pleasant experience. The site itself was lovely and the evening staff member we encountered was exceptionally kind, helpful, and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable — we even planned to return. Unfortunately, our experience was soured on the final day. While leaving, I accidentally entered a one-way system incorrectly and immediately stopped my car to correct the mistake. A female staff member arrived on a golf cart and proceeded to address me in an extremely rude and dismissive manner, telling me off aggressively rather than calmly directing me. When my car moved slightly onto the grass to give way to her cart, she made a point of saying children play on that grass — again, in a very discourteous tone — and stood there until I completed the u-turn, showing no understanding or basic courtesy whatsoever. Mistakes happen, especially as visitors unfamiliar with the layout. A polite and helpful approach would have resolved the situation in seconds. Instead, it left our whole family with a bitter final impression of what had otherwise been a lovely stay. Staff attitude at departure can make or break a guest's overall experience — and sadly, in this case, it did exactly that.

A stunning caravan park which is maintained to a hight standard and has superb views, great walks and dog friendly. The on site staff are very helpful and the Buck pub is superb and highly recommended.

Lovely site but caravan let us down as the grill in the oven was dirty also no welcome pack double bed mattress very hard so we came home a day early also it would be nice to have a wooden table and a bench to sit on outside
