About Six Arches Caravan Park

Six Arches is a family caravan park on Station Lane in Scorton, near Garstang. It takes caravans across what appears to be a substantial site with enough on-site facilities to occupy campers for several days without leaving. The pitches have showers, and the park runs a swimming pool, bar, restaurant and clubhouse.

Families with children will find a dedicated play area. Pets are welcome. The park sits close to countryside walking, and there is wildlife to spot on or near the site. A tearoom at Daisy Clough Nurseries is just a few minutes' walk away if you want to venture off-site for a change of scene. The pub The Hamilton is a short walk in the other direction.

Large park, plenty of vans. Also a club house which has entertainment on Fri and sat. A chippy, attached to club. Also a swimming pool outside.

I have hated all things about this park the staff are aggressive and rude the pool has sharp edges and has cut me there is a new park outside the clubhouse and already has rust and the internet is really bad and the pool had no heaters on and the some lakes were warmer than that pool and the entertainment is boring because all the same time it say amazing female vocalist but it is the same person each week at there is only wii bowling and bingo for kids

The site seemed nice enough. However, one staff member who after asking around has worked there for years and years thought it appropriate to yell at my children, one was a toddler, two primary school children and one young teenager. My toddler was very distressed. Professional conduct standards are not high and I felt it a shame that they could not have contacted an adult to discuss their concerns, of what turned out to be very trivial matter concerning another youth on the site. The staff member caused distress to our elderly relative on several occasions by contacting her to query matters about the children rather than just asking us. I'm the first to call out unacceptable behaviour and would have been receptive to hearing what the concerns were and listening to some facts but it seemed like there were no facts to discuss and when called out on talking to my children with no adult present which I felt was highly inappropriate, she back peddled and down played her role in the confrontation. It was bizarre! May just be how she is used to handling such matters but I would highly recommend training/retraining or to be moved into a non-customer facing role.
