We have stayed here twice now what a lovely place the kids loved this place being able to walk around and explore get up close to the farm animals and experience true camping this place has a really nice feel. places to have a coffee and a bite to eat the views are amazing the facilities are clean and mostly the people who run the place are approachable really helpful and go above and beyond to ensure your stay is brilliant and also dog friendly so no restrictions on taking the dogs any where on site would 100% recommend Thank you for making our 2 stays amazing. Stayed here multiple times now. Very welcoming owners and a very friendly site. Pop up bar is a massive plus. Can have a fire which is a massive bonus also. Will definitely be back.

Smithills View Campsite Review We had a fantastic stay at Smithills View Campsite. The scenery was beautiful, with lovely views of trees, fields, cows, and sheep — a perfect countryside escape. The staff were really friendly and helpful, which made the experience even better. One evening, they opened the barn for live music, which added such a fun, welcoming atmosphere. Drinks were reasonably priced too! The toilet blocks were large, very clean, and always well-stocked with toilet roll — a big plus. They also sold firewood at a good price, great for an evening by the fire. It’s a peaceful site with a chilled, relaxed vibe — ideal for families and adults alike. We’d definitely go again and highly recommend it!
