Thorney Lakes Caravan and Camping Park

Wow what a fantastic 3 days of absolute peace and rest. You get the relaxed vibe as soon as you turn up i went in to reception to check in. Sally was great and gave me all the info i needed as there are no set pitches you can go where you want. the little shop has the basics i bought a couple bags of wood at a very resonable price and when burnt they lasted open fires are always a winner. Showers toilets and wash areas were very clean and cleaned daily great solar heater and back up boiler for hot water. the lakes are amazing the most tranquil setting i fished it was so quiet and peaceful. i caught some decent size roach and tench the fish are in great condition there are also some big carp about. had a great chat with the guy who came round to check the tickets sorry cant remember your name. again more info on the lakes and local walks. Stayed here during a niche festival, it was hot and the lack of a pool was felt. The composting toilets stunk to high heaven and are right next to the cold water washing up sink. The location is remote and very peaceful, a walk around the beautiful lake is recommended.

10/10 stay at Thorney Lakes Caravan & Camping Park. Everything was clean, well looked after, and the facilities were excellent. The lake and surrounding area are absolutely stunning — especially in the evening. Such a peaceful, relaxing place with beautiful views everywhere you look. We had an amazing time and can’t wait to come back.

We stayed here for the May bank holiday and the fishing. What a great site. We were warmly welcomed. We could park where we wanted. Facilities were fine, clean and functional. Fishing lakes were my husbands favourite. We will definitely be back.
