Great locations for a our nights stay in our roof tent. Went fishing by the lake and had 2 very helpful and friending staff on attendance offering advice and tips. I did lose my Rod taking my eye off the ball in the lake and the staff in the shop were so helpful and let me borrow a paddle board to go out and retrieve this. The lake itsself is very well stocked with lots of fish, seen some lovely swans and ducks with there babies beside them. Had a "beach" Part of the lake for swimming in, seen this in full use by some kids, looked great. Very reasonable prices for the pitch and the hiring of water sports, shop also not over priced like a lot of site. Shower and toilets all clean and shower hot, plenty of space in them too. Would highly recommend for a lovely peaceful picturesque stay with great friendly, helpful staff.

Another brilliant stay with our kids, we love the water activities and so glad to hear atleast for now the camping is staying as they have done a U turn, we have come many times now and loved it everytime, hopefully one day they will have a cafe there thats the only constructive criticism i can give, thanks for having us

Site is beautiful. In summer it would be really lovely. Ideal location for what we needed. Showers/toilets were clean but dated. Only slight niggle was that Pitchup charged us £19/night for a non electric grass pitch. We came a night early and were charged £24 for the night direct with the park.

Pitched up our caravan here for 1 night. And I’m glad we only had one night. The toilet and shower block was disgusting. I complained about the cleanliness and was told the cleaner was coming any minute. I went back an hour later and the toilets had all been unblocked however the still didn’t clean the facilities as the toothpaste marks up the mirrors was still there, rubbish on the floor was still there, sinks were filthy! The floors were filthy. Just a filthy area. Need to sack the cleaner tbh if that was their cleaning! Also, the site looked scruffy due to the permanent residence. Highly disappointing given the beautiful location/ setting! Wouldn’t ever return unless they knock it down and start again.
