What visitors say
Lovely relaxed campsite. Owners friendly and went beyond what we expected, allowing us to pitch by the water, next to the shower block, as my wife had broken her ankle while away. Nice large hard standing and grass pitches with optional EHU. Two large new showers, two new toilets, washing up area, fresh water point, grey drain and Elsan point all in the one block. Loads of room for kids to play. Nice fishing or walking area around the fishery. Good area for cycling. Handy for Mallory Park circuit. All for £18 pn for two adults non EHU pitch.

Recently stayed for 2 nights while attending a scuba diving course. On the first night I found a quiet little spot tucked away in the corner, which suited me perfectly. I didn’t use the facilities that evening, but the next morning I used the pot wash area and toilet facilities, which were clean and well kept. On the second night, the area I’d parked in previously was occupied, which wasn’t an issue, but as it was a group of men I chose another quiet spot behind some caravans in what seemed to be the older section. Again, it was peaceful and quiet despite the site being busy. After a long hot day in thermals and a drysuit, I had an absolutely fantastic shower — very much appreciated! The next morning I used the Elsan point and had a lovely chat with a lady collecting cans for a good cause, who kindly wished me a safe day. Overall, excellent facilities and a pleasant stay. There were no electric hook-ups left, but honestly I didn’t mind at all and still thoroughly enjoyed my time there.

Great weekend away again at Fortway Farm Leisure & Fishery. Lovely to get away with the parents again! We had 13 lovely carp between us. Not the biggest of carp but every one is in such great condition and so well cared for! My 7 year old had 9 tiddlers on her float rod... all at a lovely site that i can't recommend highly enough. Good clean facilities, really friendly owners. And a well kept, well stocked lake. Really looking forward to the next one

Great little camp site nice open spaces for kids to play and very clean. The area has good access to so nice walks, and also, the local Carbost on a Sunday is just a short walk down the main road. The site itself I was a little frustrated with when I fish on Saturday as a keen fisherman and a angling trust bailiff I was surprised about the lack of rules on the lake most others didn't have landing mats and was very rowdy by midday so I sadly packed up and went back to the van. The price of fishing is very cheap and in my eyes it is too cheap to maintain a small lake with some good fish in. These issues with the fish care in the lake in my eyes needs to be addressed. But happy with my stay there
