Nice site on the edge of golf courses. Wide & deep pitches. Fitted our 8m MH easily. Showers & toilets nice &clean, & are accessible through reception when it's open, and external door with code given at check-in, during out of hours. Reasonably priced at £23 per night, plus £5 if you need EHU Reception stocks a selection of snacks & drinks. Have been twice already 😁 Even had fish & chips delivered to the MH door one night 👍 Melton Mowbray a 20 minute walk away, but I think (not certain) there was a bus that went past the site entrance. Only slight negative was the busy road noise, but it does reduce significantly over night & we both managed to sleep well.

Really nice site and easy to get onto. Great welcome from Elizebeth who explained everything well and with a smile. Booked online, which was simple. All facilities were really clean with plenty of hot water in the indoor pot wash area. CDP at rear of main building. Plenty of hookup points along the hedge and water point point close by opposite pitch 5/6. As others have mentioned, road noise during the day but didn't bother our sleep as dies down after 7pm. Would recommend and will return. Easy 20 minute walk into Melton Mowbury. 8m moho, pitches could cope with longer so all good.

The staff are really lovely, friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately the site was a disappointment. Lovely for walking your dogs but the whole place is open to the public so everyone walks their dogs through. The site is also completely open at night so does make you feel very uncomfortable. After entering the disabled shower I let the shower run for 2 sessions before before putting my hand in to test the temperature. On doing so I was immediately scolded on my right hand. I proceeded to let the shower run for several more sessions hoping it would level out the temperature, unfortunately it didn't. The shower temperature is quite dangerous and far too hot as my husband also experienced the same issue in the mens showers. I was left to struggle with a cold flannel wash without being able to wash my very long hair, None of the toilets had hand soap, paper towels, hand dryers or bins so you are unable to wash your hands. The toilet brush in the disabled toilet was covered in faeces. Thankfully we had only booked for one night as we definitely wouldn't stay again

Overnight stop over with the motorhome, as we were heading to Boston for the weekend. Lovely dog friendly site and golf club handy for going into Melton Mowbray. Usual campsite facilities with electric if required. Showers and toilets. Will return again.
