Huge park, great for walking and admiring nature. Easy to get lost so follow the trails and keep Google handy. Lovely cafe with gorgeous food, both hot and cold . Saw children having horse riding lessons and ots of dog walkers. Some not on leash. So many benches to sit on for tired feet. The weather made it worth it ,as the sun was shining and views were awesome!!

Great cafe, shop and information centre. Lovely food with a varied menu and home cooked cakes. Great event too such as outdoor Macbeth, owl nights and holiday camps. Great playground next to it in the woodland.

Enjoy walking in an ancient woodland - a green lung between Southend-on-Sea (Leigh) and Hadleigh. You can walk through the neighbouring woodlands to create a good trail that takes in this rural setting. Belfairs has a public golf course, bridleway, cafe, restaurant, children's play area, and ample parking. Historically used for coppicing, the woodland is retained as a nature reserve, a great space for the children, dogs, and walkers. The Prittle Brook urban greenaway can be accessed from the lower edge of the woodland, where you can walk through to Priory Park in Central Southend.

Very pleasant surroundings and a nice walk in the woods. A woodland centre is provided so you can refresh yourselves with a drink or snack and also some nice gifts if you feel inclined to support the centre. Very pleasant.
