About Townsend Touring Park

Townsend Touring Park sits just outside the black-and-white village of Pembridge, making it a well-placed base for exploring Herefordshire's market towns and rolling countryside. The site keeps things straightforward with electric hook-ups, clean showers and toilets, plus WiFi to keep you connected. It's a family-friendly spot, though note that pets aren't permitted and there's no chemical disposal point on site.

The location is the real draw here—Pembridge itself is worth a wander for its medieval market hall and timber-framed buildings, while Leominster and the bookshops of Hay-on-Wye are both an easy drive. A practical, no-frills touring park that does the basics well.

Townsend caravan site is quiet and set in peaceful countryside right next to the lovely village of Pembridge with its half timbered houses, pubs and a quaint village shop. Our pitch was fully serviced which was great but just a tip you may need a long water and drain hose in order to connect up. There is a picturesque fishing lake on site. We really enjoyed our stay and visited many interesting places during our visit some by bike and some by car. My phone signal was weak but usable and also we managed to obtain just a few channels on TV using our standard caravan aerial. The toilets and shower block were kept clean and also the temporary toilets and showers were clean and modern. Be aware that the Reception office may not be open if you arrive on a weekday. When it is open there is a farm shop and cafe available. Thankyou for a very enjoyable and restful stay

A quiet and spacious location, great for the whole family and is especially a very good place for children. With a fishing lake, shop, and bike track alongside a games room, this is a great getaway for everyone.

Lovely touring and camping park. We stayed in Barn Owl pod and were very happy with our stay. The pod was a perfect size for us and although it's very basic it is clean, well kept and cosy. We were very thankful for the radiator! The pod had a picnic bench and BBQ which we made use of. The facilities block was clean and well looked after. Pembridge is a very small and quiet village with a couple of pubs and not much else but this suited us as we love spending some time in the countryside in a quiet location. We would highly recommend installing some more lights as we went out in the evening and as it was so dark we struggled to find our way back and had to use our phone lights. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to come back.

Lovely Camping/ Caravan site. Pitches are a good size, even for 8/10 person tents . One shower toilet block. Quiet site with little road traffic noise . Cafe / reception is a plus and only 10 minutes walk into the village . Two pubs next to each other both serve food at certain days of the week, and across the road, you can get pizza Friday/Saturday evening. There are lots of places to visit in the daytime.
