Levenmouth Swimming Pool

Excellent leisure pool, has a flume, slides, waves, jacuzzi, never too busy. Unlike Burntisland they never refuse entry. Staff don't constantly whistle at you for swimming with your kids anywhere other than the very shallow bit so you can actually swim and have fun. Just wish they didn't allow dirty shoes into the changing area it's quite gross, but this is a custom in every UK swimming pool I've ever been to.

The Leven Swimming Pool is actually a toddlers pool. There isn't even a proper swimming pool for adults in the whole centre. Best case scenario is that they put out a rope for a few hours, so then at least you have two lanes available... the pool however isn't even remotely deep enough for proper swimming at one end. The whirlpool isn't warm enough either, pretty much has the same temperature as the pool. Since it's a toddlers pool, it's also constantly "out of order", because there's always someone that decides to poop into the water, and then they close down the whole swimming bath every time... So there are several days each and every year where the pool is closed, and you can't even go. Speaking of being out of order, it's the same for the health suite. If it's not the sauna that's not working for several weeks, then it's the steam room, or the door is broken and can't be shut, or there's a window missing, or the shower heads are not working properly... This place has been looking like this for decades now, and really needs a complete makeover, from scratch. Also, most of the visitors and staff come across as really dodgy and clumsy... can't say much for the gym as I haven't tried it yet, but given the poor maintenance in general, I wouldn't expect too much from that either. Perhaps not the most popular opinion, but at least it's an honest one.

Abit disappointed in this place, I have a gym membership so went in and all the equipment is old and worn. I think I'll just go to Michael Woods as there equipment is all new and easy to use.

A great leisure in a prefect location - on the sea front and next to the bus and train stations. Lots of free parking too. The pool is usually a good temperature The gym is large, well equipped and clean The sauna is new and great A fantastic facility for everyone
