About Coastfields Holiday Village
Coastfields Holiday Village is a family-oriented holiday park on the Lincolnshire coast at Skegness, within metres of the seafront and beach. The site has a swimming pool, bar, restaurant and café on-site, plus a shop for essentials and a children's play area. Wireless internet is available throughout, and there is laundry provision for longer stays.
The real draw here is the location: you can walk straight out to the beach and promenade. Skegness seafront has the traditional seaside facilities and amusements you would expect, and the town centre with its shops and pubs lies just up the road. The site itself caters to families and welcomes pets, with showers and takeaway food available if you do not want to cook. This is a working holiday park rather than a quiet retreat, so expect a busier atmosphere during peak season.

What visitors say
Sadly not as the website sells it. I had arranged firstly for a late check in which I was told was fine. I arrived after a long day at work and a long drive down, luckily no family. I was greated at the bar with "you've already checked in" to then "Oh you've accommodation hasn't been cleaned" this at 20:55hrs. After waiting over 1hr I was given another van. Although clean it had a real fusty smell, no WiFi and the TV sound was muffled. The van it's self was ok but I would NOT be advertising that as a premium stay! Very basic sadly!. I did get to pass my views on which were met with an offer to refresh the van and an apologyfor the bad start, not a possible move or an offer of any discount which I wouldn't normally ask for but felt in this situation was the right course of action. Clearly not shared by the manager. I did get a complementary gift basket 🙃 might as well not bothered with that! Customer service is fundamental in this industry and its sadly lacking here. This was a first time visit after a recommendation...I can't see me.coming back or recommending to anyone else sorry.

Genuinely overall grubby and dirty , many amenities broken such as the shower which doesn’t drain we complained about this issue and they said they would send someone out , we came back after hours and the shower was still not fixed , worst issue was the smell , foul dog/human urine!!! I’ve stayed in MANY pet friendly accommodations that haven’t smelled as ripe as this one but it was vile , would not recommend sadly Update! The shower was finally fixed after 3 days of waiting , front desk manager had a man around within 20 minutes to sort it , she is a gem and gets stuff done the other staff member on the front desk didn’t seem to do anything nor help out so big thanks to the front desk manager and the repair man

The caravan smelt absolutely dreadful like adults had urinated all over the carpet, on top of that the shower did not drain whatsoever leaving the tub part at the bottom filled with water. We went to raise these issues to reception which said they’d be looked at and left for the day as it was unbearable. Came back and the smell had lightened slightly so it didn’t absolutely reek however the shower has not been fixed yet and continues to overfill with water. Absolutely shocking customer care and do not make time to clearly help customer issues.

Just booked 4 nights at last minute, glad we did the site and caravan are lovely and clean and well equipped. Great to relax and close to Skegness, Mablethorpe and a few other nice seaside towns. Staff are friendly and very helpful. I have a feeling we will be back here !
