Highfields Country Holiday Fishing Retreat

What a piecfull place to be if you like fishing or just hang around in nature go there and enjoy. We went to local forest and seen horde of deer ther must be more than 200 I never seen anything like this in my live. If you there for fishing lakes are full of fish. Carp ,trench all sorts. Out caravan is privately owned and like new. Sourounding grounds are kept clean and well maintained.

Went there Friday 7th caravan stunck of dogs cutlery same you couldn't sit on toilet as you had 6inch ov leg room the fishing lakes smelt of stagnent water if your disabled like me you can only park one car at caravan then you after walk 300yards back to caravan I complained they let me park in a sold caravan spot nippet to shop come back someone from site had took my space cheeky gits the beds were like sleeping on stones the 2 beds had a lump of wood on same end as your head so if you turned over you would be getting a black eye or lump on head there's nothing there or realy anything to do if you like nothing then it would be heaven I personally think it's sold as a lie there's ment to be 20lbs fish in hawthorne we caught 4lbs to 8lbs tops then they come and put airreater on tottal nackerd the fishing me my brother come home next day instead of staying till Monday me my brother slept on couch thinking it would be better than stones or springs in your body we was wrong it smelled of dogs disgusting especially when you have COPD and Ashama NEVER AGAIN WILL I GO THERE I think it's a total RIP OFF

We love it here, peaceful and quiet, great fishing and comfortable accommodation and friendly helpful staff.

I would highly recommended the fishing here and the cabins ours was very clean and roomy, we had a great stay here for a week, we fished every day and never stoped catching pleanty of doubles and good quality fish stock of all breads, BRILLIANT
