We recently stayed at Haven Skegness on a Bronze caravan deal for a long weekend (Friday to Monday), but unfortunately we decided to leave early on Sunday due to several issues. The biggest disappointment was the cleanliness of the caravan. We were assured it had been cleaned before our arrival, but it was clearly not up to an acceptable standard. The carpets had debris and dirt on them and appeared not to have been vacuumed. As we were travelling with two young children, aged 6 and 2, we ended up cleaning the caravan ourselves rather than spending time taking photos and reporting every issue. I appreciate that we booked the cheapest accommodation option, but hygiene and cleanliness should be maintained to a high standard regardless of the package level. The outdoor play areas also felt tired and in need of refurbishment. Both mini parks could benefit from a deep clean, fresh paint, and general maintenance. We often found ourselves waiting a long time for equipment, particularly the swings, as some children were using them for extended periods without parental supervision. The main facilities were much better and there was a decent range of activities available. However, many of these seemed more suited to older children, but there wasn't a great deal aimed at our 2-year-old. I would also advise families with neurodivergent children to be aware that the site can become very busy, noisy, and overstimulating, which may be challenging for some children. Overall, the main facilities were good, but the poor cleanliness of the caravan, the condition of the play area, experience fell below expectations and contributed to us to end our holiday early. That said, the staff were lovely and friendly throughout our stay, always asking if we needed anything and making us feel welcome. Unfortunately we won’t be going back to this holiday park.

Location was very good. Close to amenities, fun fair nearby, beach etc. Enough activities on site for children to do. However, one activity mixed children and adults. An adult accidentally broke my son's leg, so we had to attend hospital then leave site early in order to take him to hospital as soon as we got home. Kieran and Asha (activity person and first aider) were brilliant to respond and help so staff deserve huge credit. Haven activity should have been children only.

Nice well kept site, security pretty good too There are plenty of food venues and you can even get food delivered to your caravan. There is a swimming pool/gym and dedicated children's play area A shop to provide essentials. Bar with entertainment outside stage We just wanted a few days away for peace and relaxation so the hideaway choice was great for us. The caravan was spacious and reasonably clean however this is our third visit and the caravan wasn't as well equipped as we had before. Basic things like egg cups a jug and salad bowl would have made it five star.

We had a lovely break and there was everything on site and the staff were lovely and friendly and a credit to haven . Our gold caravan was a extremely clean and there was everything we needed , it had really comfortable beds and a rap around decking and top class patio set which was spotless . We were lake side and couldn't have asked for a lovely spot. The site grounds were excellently kept , I never saw any litter and the food served in the bar restaurant was absolutely lovely. The site is 15 minutes walk from Skegness Town and promenade, plenty of shops and places to eat. A big thankyou to Haven and all their hard working staff , I would definitely recommend.
