Visited here recently with my family when passing by - the bar man who I believe is also the chef is very miserable and un-welcoming towards customers. Atmosphere was awful. The girl behind the bar was friendly and welcoming. But someone needs to tell the bar man to cheer up before he looses customers. It already seemed very quiet in there, maybe this is why?. He had a face on him like someone had trod dog muck through his pub. On another note, the food was lovely though. But we won’t be returning again due to being made to feel un-welcome.

Just spent the last week here. Everything was perfect. Many thanks to Sarah and Kelly on reception. Nothing was any trouble and always had a smile and time for a chat. Tony, bar manager, you are fabulous, great with the boys (teenagers), great fun, and very helpful. Entertainment is fantastic, bingo, raffles, singers etc. And food is just perfect. From Sunday carvery to bar meals at very good prices. We loved it that much, we've booked to come again....
