Hotels in and around Lindale are limited within the village itself, so most visitors base themselves in nearby Grange-over-Sands, a short drive or bus ride to the south. Grange-over-Sands has a good range of options, from traditional seafront hotels in grand Victorian buildings to smaller guest houses and bed and breakfasts tucked into the town's quiet streets, many making the most of views across Morecambe Bay. Staying here gives easy access to Lindale's Wilkinson Monument as well as the town's own promenade gardens and railway station on the Furness Line.

For those wanting a more rural base, the wider area around Cartmel and the southern fringe of the Lake District National Park has country hotels and inns, often set in converted farmhouses or historic buildings, putting fells, lakes and the racecourse at Cartmel within easy reach. Kendal, a little further north, offers a larger selection of hotels and chain options for visitors who want a bigger town as their base while still being close to Lindale and the surrounding countryside.

Wherever you choose to stay, Lindale's position just off the A590 makes it a convenient stopping point between the M6 and the Furness peninsula, so it works well as a brief detour rather than a lengthy stay in itself. Booking ahead is worthwhile in the Lake District's busier summer months, when accommodation across the wider region fills up quickly.
