About Camping Ty Du Farm

Ty Du Farm sits quietly on a working Carmarthenshire farm near Felinfoel, ten minutes from Llanelli and handy for the M4. It's a modest, car-free camping field where each pitch has its own firepit and picnic table—perfect for stargazing under dark skies. Kids can roam the woods collecting kindling, say hello to sheep in the next field, and meet the farm's friendly pigs when they're in the mood. A cycle path runs right past the gate, making it easy to pedal to Swiss Valley Reservoir or down to the coast at Pembrey.

Facilities are simple: hot showers, flushing loos, washing-up sinks and a lockable cupboard for charging phones. The welcome is warm and the setting peaceful, though some visitors have found standards inconsistent. No dogs allowed, but families and groups are encouraged. Day trips to the Gower, Brecon Beacons and Pembrokeshire are all within half an hour.
