An excellent campsite. A quiet and peaceful location with very friendly owners. Very spacious level pitches, with a fire pit and a picnic table provided. The toilets and washing up area are kept very clean. I Give the campsite a 5 star rating

Beautiful, peaceful small site. Very clean porta loos. Flat, well sized camping pitches. Friendly family run site. Loved having a fire pit and pitch with river flowing past. Kids, teens and dog all really enjoyed the site and the local area. Spent a day paddle boarding and canoeing on the lake. Had bacon baps from the shop less than 5 minutes walk from site. Used Avon skin so soft to keep midges at bay (available from the shop or farmhouse if shop closed). Also cycled from campsite and around the lake, lots of fun at your own pace. Good escape from the stresses of busy lives.

We stayed here last night, pitch size was great with picnic table and bbq/firepit included. Had great location next to the river. Site has recently put in new facilties, which were all clean and working in perfect order. Owners came down to say hello after arrival. Really good location and site. Will definitely be come back.

Great campsite. Lovely owners, very friendly. Campsite is gorgeous with stunning view especially on a sunrise. There is loads to see within walking distance. Great for bike riding around the lake. Highly recommend.
