Tent campsite near Llanybydder with wild camping and campfires allowed on a working farm.
About Pyllau
Pyllau is a working farm campground in remote Carmarthenshire that embraces a looser approach to camping. Tent pitches sit within forest and farmland, and the site explicitly welcomes wild camping and allows campfires – uncommon permissions that set it apart from more regulated sites. It operates as a pop-up campground with 26–50 pitches, keeping things low-key and informal.
Facilities are basic: showers, toilets and picnic tables, though there is no hot water. The site welcomes dogs year-round, motorcyclists, single-sex groups and students, and allows barbecues as well as campfires. Commercial vehicles are permitted. The peaceful, remote setting and wildlife haven status suggest this is genuinely quiet countryside rather than a busy touring park. At £10 per night, it is affordable. Llanybydder is the nearest town.

What visitors say
We had the most relaxing weekend away with our two dogs. The venue is in the perfect location to completely switch off and wind down for a few days. The local beaches and pubs are beautiful and super dog friendly, which made the whole weekend easy. Would 100% recommend to anyone looking for a quiet escape!

Had a lovely weekend at Lan farm glamping. The views were beautiful. The place was very cozy clean and tidy. Hot tub was hot 24/7. We also visited the farm to get some fresh milk and eggs. Amazing experience and I would love to come back soon!

We had the perfect long weekend at Lan Farm. The pod had the most amazing views and was so cozy, we had everything we needed (including some incredible lemon drizzle) and the hot tub was fired up ready for a late night dip on arrival. We found lots to do in the local area, and some great places for meals too. Can't wait to come back again for another lovely relaxing stay!!
