Family Craft Workshop with Woodblocks

I’ve now done two workshops here — animal willow making and a wild clay workshop — and both were absolutely wonderful. I had such an amazing time that I decided to commit to a membership. The people are lovely, the teaching is generous, and the workshops are both restorative and full of skills to take away. I left feeling inspired, grateful, and excited to come back. I can’t wait for my next workshop and would highly recommend it to anyone.

My husband and I recently went for a beginner spoon wood carving session. We didn't know what to expect but were blown away by the whole experience from start to finish 🙂 Stephen was so inviting, hospitable, and incredibly patient in delivering his instructions and helping us out. His team and volunteers also kindly stepped in to help us too. The conversations during carving were very special. It was also great to be out in nature. We would highly recommend this.

Huge thanks to Stephen and his team for leading another fab willow weaving workshop at our community garden. Their enthusiasm is so infectious and along with their knowledge and patient, teaching skills, makes the session great fun, with no pressure. Everyone left feeling so satisfied, proudly carrying their reindeers through the park - much to the local children's amusement!
