What diners say
Great customer service and generally a lovely calming ambience (as the restaurant faces the quiet main street outside and inside the mall). The food quality is really good for the price you pay. I tried a tuna and avocado Sandwich and a Chinese Sencha Tea (Green Tea). Thank you!

I loved the truffle pasta, it was absolutely to die for, the staff were lovely (I don’t remember the names of the two ladies that helped me, they were lovely and helpful), Gino was a lovely guy too, been here twice, once outside where Gino went out of his way to help me and once inside, lovely open atmosphere, clean breathable air. Great place, I recommend 5/5 (not my first time here and definitely not going to be the last).

Abysmal experience at Café Brera Canary Wharf Overall, overpriced, poorly managed, and careless. For a Canary Wharf location, this standard is simply not acceptable. Visited around 3pm and spent just under £50, and it honestly felt like a complete waste of money. We ordered a spicy chicken pizza, truffle Parmesan fries, two pistachio lattes (with extra espresso shots), and a Saint Sebastian cheesecake. The coffees arrived first and were lukewarm and extremely weak—even though we asked for extra shots of espresso. Easily some of the worst coffee I’ve had in Canary Wharf, especially compared to places like Black Sheep or Blanc Street. The fries came without the truffle mayo they’re listed with. When we asked, we were told it had run out. We were then offered garlic mayo, only to be told that wasn’t available either—leaving only ketchup or plain mayo. That’s not what’s on the menu and not what you expect at these prices. The pizza was unacceptable. We had to ask twice for plates, and while eating, I found a bone in the chicken topping. I had to take it out of my mouth and show it to my wife before placing it on the plate. This is a serious food safety issue—especially as we were dining with a 2-year-old. This should be verifiable on your CCTV if needed. On top of that, the “spicy” chicken was bland and poorly prepared—more like boiled chicken with a few chilli flakes. I’ve had far better pizzas at Prezzo, Zizzi, and Franco Manca for less money. Service overall was disorganised. To be fair to the waiter, he appeared to be covering multiple tables on his own, which likely explains the delays—but that reflects poor staffing and management, not the individual. We had to get up and find someone just to pay. The parking situation summed up the experience. When we asked for validation, we were told our ticket had “missing information” and couldn’t be processed. This was the exact ticket issued by the Cabot Square machine on entry(photo attached) so any issue was clearly not on us. Staff offered no real explanation or solution—just shrugged it off. To make matters worse, an “optional service charge” of £5.48 was added to the bill without it being brought to our attention at any point. While I understand service charges are common, they should be clearly communicated and, given the level of service we received, entirely inappropriate in this case. It felt like it was simply added on and expected to go unnoticed.

I popped into this place for a take away watermelon icetea and a honey cake . The ice team was made with syrup and didn’t taste like watermelon and had no strawberries as it is meant to. I asked if it was the correct drink and the person who made it said yes but ignored the question about the missing strawberries. Then when I got home to eat the cake I found a used wooden spoon in the bag - disgusting and very very disappointing. Not worth the money
