Highly recommended! Walcot Hall proved the most fabulous place to celebrate a large summer birthday party. Most of the family stayed at The Garden House, which has five lovely bedrooms, and others joined us for drinks in the courtyard followed by lunch for twenty-five. We all enjoyed strolling through the beautiful gardens afterwards. It was a long drive for some (we had guests from London, Edinburgh and East Sussex) but they all agreed it was worth the journey and loved the location. Many thanks go to the staff who made our stay a joy. We can't wait to return with the grandchildren to try out the characterful holiday accommodation and explore the amazing arboretum.

We stayed in The Chapel during a heatwave, and it became the most magical week we could have wished for. The Chapel itself is exquisite, and its setting within the beautiful arboretum feels almost otherworldly. All you hear is the gentle soundtrack of nature. We spent our days wandering through the 30‑acre estate, swimming in the natural lakes, and soaking up the peace that seems to settle over everything.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Magical Escape at The Walcot Hall Our visit to The Walcot Hall last week (July 2nd) was nothing short of enchanting. From the moment we arrived, the estate’s grandeur took our breath away—rolling hills, a serene lake, and fields painted in shades of green and golden hues from forestry and grain production. The landscape alone is a masterpiece, but the meticulously curated gardens, bursting with diverse plant species, elevated the experience to something truly extraordinary. The property is a treasure trove of charm and character. The main house, with its decadent style, feels like stepping into a living storybook, filled with stunning furniture, captivating paintings, and cozy corners that invite you to linger. Scattered around the estate are beautifully restored caravans and huts, each brimming with warmth, history, and a unique personality that makes you feel instantly at home. The walks around the estate are a must—every turn reveals another breathtaking view, and the diversity of the surroundings keeps you in awe at every step. The staff, as always, were incredibly kind and attentive, ensuring our stay was seamless and memorable. If you’re looking for a place that combines natural beauty, rich history, and a touch of magic, The Walcot Hall is a 5-star gem. We left feeling inspired and already dreaming of our next visit!

This was our 3rd visit to Walcott Hall staying in a yurt. To sum it up it is stunning. The yurts and facilities in the yurt field have everything you need. The location is incredible. Difficult to know where to start but all you can hear is the wonderful sound of the birds. It's the perfect place to escape. So many walks nearby but just exploring the arboretum everyday is wonderful. We are so glad we discovered this beautiful place. Thank you. We will be back. Ali, Alan and Gizmo
