What visitors say
Came back today from a 4 day stay. Immaculate site so well kept and clean would forget its an actual working farm. Had a lovely alarm call from the cows.Nick has even put industrial fans in their covered pens to keep them cool. Nothing really bad to say apart from the time there goes quickly. Lucky we don't travel far to get there plus ideal as we store our van there as well.

The site was OK but very hilly and you will need ramps for your pitch, toilets and showers were clean and did the job, not very well lit up at night we needed our head torches to get to the wash up area which had very dim lighting not sufficient tbh. We booked for 4 nights but left after 3 not much to do unless you have a car, we had a walk to the Red Lion for a drink and a pint which was nice. We stayed on pitch 15 and could hear a humming noise on & off through the night not sure what it was, I think the pitches either side were season pitches so could have been a generator? We used our gas for the Alde heating as it is only 10 amp and was recommended by the owner - we still spent over £20 on the electric meter to basically run the fridge. Nice views across the fields and good to see the Highland cows / Alpacas

We had a two night stay here using the new hot tub pitch and can honestly say out of all the sites we have been to over the years this is the best, the location, amenities, friendly and helpful staff and views are second to none, beautiful meal and the local pub which was just a short walk from the site and well sign posted. Big thanks to Nick. we have even booked again for a little later in the year. Loved it

Stayed at Welltrough farm Last weekend 26th Feb in our touring caravan . We had never been before & wanted to try an adult only site. We were welcomed to a wonderful farm site, It was pristine & so well looked after with a beautiful farm animals & fantastic views. There is a mowed walk through the fields and fantastic for dog walking, We were lucky with the weather & walked down the path to a lovely friendly pub Called The Red Lion. It was so friendly & the food in there is divine . Would highly recommend this site for a wonderful relaxed weekend. We were so happy we returned again this weekend 6th March & had another fantastic time . Nick the owner is so lovely to get along with & you can see how hard he works to maintain his wonderful farm. Can’t wait to go back again.
