Gracelands Glamping

We booked and stayed in the lodge for 2 nights. Was just myself and my 3 girls! We had a fantastic time! The girls never left the hot tub and the staff were so friendly asking if we needed anything! It’s set on a beautiful golf course overlooking small ponds which I just thought was beautiful. We had such a peaceful stay and the bed in our lodge was so comfortable. Definitely go again! Thank you so much

Me and my family booked this as a quick get away which was great for one night stay we were in the big lodge there was 5 of us there a lot of room and the jacuzzi was amazing and a bonus point was the sauna which me and my family adore everything was great the service was excellent we got told everything what to do and shown. The outside is very nicely decorated with the lights and the sauna and the jacuzzi stayed warmed for a long time even after we stopped lighting it. And ordering food in is quiet cheap and good food and the service person was amazing even cracking a few jokes with us which is was amazing. And me and boyfriend very much enjoyed it as we are still in our youth.

Mice in walls!!! My boyfriend and I booked to stay in the blue pod for one night after a last minute plan. On arrival we had to wait 40minutes before getting shown around by the host. Once shown to the pod, first impressions were that the pod looked very run down and outdated. My boyfriend and I have travelled across the country to several glamping sites and this one is by far the worst. There was no hot water whatsoever despite having it turned on all evening. Also found it strange that there are no shower facilities. There is a small outdated heater that didn’t really heat up the pod as we were freezing all night. When it came to settling down for the night, we got no sleep whatsoever as we were kept up by the sound of things running around in the walls which sounded like mice. We did look around but couldn’t find anything yet the noises continued and kept getting louder as the night went on. From this, we felt really uncomfortable and freaked out and no longer wanted to stay there let alone sleep, so we ended up leaving the pod at 6am. With this, we did text the host explaining the situation who then said he checked the pod himself yet found nothing. Tried to suggest it was a tree scraping off against the roof yet I think we could tell the difference between a tree and a little creature running around inside the walls. Asked him if there was any chance of a refund but he never acknowledged this. Wouldn’t really recommend this place- it needs a really good revamp and updating- also needs pest control out to check the buildings. I have also now been blocked by the host which tells you everything you need to know.

On arrival , the place looks very run down/ diggers building material left dotted everywhere. The gracelands(house) appears to be abandoned. The pod itself was cleann warm . There are no showers available , the cooking facilities wouldn't not be use able. The bed wasnt comfortable (large dip in the middle) The hot tub itself was also clean however the roof/canopy was thick with green slim. There was also no were to put robes/towels outside without them getting wet(rain) It was myself and my partner we were playing light music at volume 3 in our phone and got a text at 9.50 to turn down the music it was not loud at all . The pod beside us was playing dance music at a much louder volume . The pathway to the pods is also run down and just like a muck trail. Overall I wouldn't return or recommend to a friend. However I do feel with a bit if TLC and didn't roof over the hot tub and maybe a microwave it would make a big difference.
