What visitors say
Our first weekend at the site with our family. We had two electric pitches and one non electric all in a row, just perfect. With a two and four year old, the play barn was really good, the cafe had a great selection of food and cakes and was reasonably priced with excellent service, also allowed our dog to enter. Two showers that also had toilets and and a separate toilet. The cafe also has three toilets. All in all a lovely weekend was had by all and I'm sure that we will return. Many thanks to you all for such a lovely visit. 🙋🏼♀️🙋🏼

My hubby me and 2 cocker spaniels came her 6 weeks ago (we only live in wootton bassett, 19ish mins away) absolutely loved it. Great pitches, fab views and amazing sunsets. We noticed the animals and play barn, so were able to bring 2 of our grandchildren this weekend. They had the best time and memories to last a life time. Thankyou Down on the farm, we will be back

A really lovely campsite with gorgeous views and wonderful staff! The on-site cafe is great, and there's a huge play area for the kids. While there are currently only two showers, it’s only a bit of a wait when the site is packed—plus, I know they have plans to build more soon. Highly recommend!

Sadly this was really disappointing. First time attending after seeing it posted on socials and I’m sorry to say we won’t be retuning. The cafe space is nice for an easy lunch, the food and service is ok, and that’s the best I can say about it. We had baguettes which were standard quality, the tuna was literally JUST tuna. When I apologised and assumed it would be a tuna mayo mixture, I was presented with a tub of mayo… when I asked for it to be mixed with the tuna, it was pretty much an issue for her to do that and after an already 20 minute wait for cold baguettes (the other was just cheese) she said we would have to wait as she was too busy. Awkward! It wasn’t great for £25… We then went into the play barn with our toddler (£7.50). I was astounded at just how bad this was. It’s very tired, very uncared for and generally quite unsafe. There was litter all over, cans and cups, packets etc. absolutely no area had any toys left in it, just empty benches or tuff trays and broken equipment with sharp metal edges - on scooters and play prams for example. Even the role play areas like “supermarket” was empty. Honestly I was so shocked we had been charged for this. Our daughter played in a Wendy house and in the sand area but we kept finding sharp broken plastic pieces of toys so had to leave it. It’s such a shame, if cared for and invested in this would be a gold mine for a business. Sorry, but it was a monumental let down.
